well... maybe not quite. But, its true that exercise is important for brain health! Getting moving gets your blood pumping all through your body including your brain. Additionally, as your workout intensity goes up, you have to breathe in more oxygen which goes to your brain and muscles. New blood + new fresh oxygen to the brain = better memory, improved learning, and endorphins. So, if you're like me and have 12238789347898723847892 things to do every day and can't keep them all straight plus are constantly feeling like you're forgetting something (Im sure you can all relate) maybe a quick run or Pilates class is just what you need to get focused ;)
I have always been someone that needed to move more than the average. I'm the person who is tapping her foot or hand when having to sit still and wiggles/shifts around constantly... and without a doubt anytime I need to focus for a while I have to do a workout first.
